Track Design Sacramento Raceway offers an exciting supercross-design track without any of the dangerous double and triple jumps. The track is fully lighted and features a total track length of about 3/4 mile.

The double jumps are filled in table tops that are much safer if a rider comes up short. They have a long whoop/rhythm section to keep riders on their toes.

Sand is added regularly to the corners and the track to keep it loamy. The course design is changed at mid-season to give the Fall Series racers a new layout.
Membership Sacramento Raceway does not require membership in any organization for participation. The track presents its own racing series and points advancement structure.
Ages/Classes
Advancement
Kids as young as 4 years old start riding in the 50cc Beginner classes while at the other end of the age spectrum riders over 40 regularly battle it out in the Senior classes. Riders under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian present.

Trophy classes are offered for Beginners through Expert. Riders looking for a cash purse may enter the Pro-Am class.

At some events it may be necessary to combine classes to meet a minimum of 3 riders per class.

Advancement points are given at each event with advancement following the final event of a series. The facility reserves the right to advance racers at any time based on demonstrated ability.

Click on Skill Level/Ages/Classes for more information.
Racing Numbers Riders may use their own racing numbers. In the event that two riders have the same number, the first to sign up will be permitted to keep the number. All numbers must be unique. Adding letters will not be an acceptable change.

Numbers must be on all three number plates, contrasting to the background color. For scoring purposes, numbers must be clearly legible by lap checkers.

Numbers may be purchased at Parts in the Pits.
Trophies Trophies are awarded for each night of racing in the 65cc and larger classes at a 33% payout (1 Trophy for every 3 riders in a class, up to a maximum of 5 trophies in a single class). 100% trophies are given out in the 50cc classes - every 50cc rider earns a trophy. Championship trophies are awarded to the winners of the Spring and Fall series engraved with their name and class.
Series
There are two, six round championship series. The series winners in each class receive a super sized championship trophy engraved with their name and class, and contingency prizes from the series sponsors. Multiple trophies will be awarded for ties. Championship trophies will be awarded down to a maximum of 3rd place.

Classes must have at least three riders to qualify as a points-earning series event and must have at least three races to have a series champion.

For each series, a rider's best 5 out of 6 finishes will count for points (low finish is thrown out). A missed event will count as the low finish.
Pit Rules No pit riding, including pit bikes, bicycles, ATVs, or scooters, allowed anywhere. Bring your bike to the track tuned, ready to race. All motorcycles must be pushed to and from the track.
General Rules Yellow flags mean CAUTION. Passing on a yellow flag could be grounds for disqualification.

Laps may be reduced if curfew is approaching.

The guardrail and drag strip are off limits.
Insurance Parent or legal guardian or an adult who presents a notarized authorization to sign on behalf of the parent must countersign entry and be present at sign-ups with minor (17 years or younger). Spectators witnessing these events assume all risks for injuries resulting therein. No rider medical insurance is provided.

Skill Levels, Ages and Classes

Beginners Open to riders just starting racing who have not earned more than two first place trophies or have never been advanced to the Novice class in any organization. Advancement to the Novice class will occur after earning 6 points (example: a 1st place=3 points, 2nd place=2 points, 3rd place=1 point). No advancement will occur during a series. Riders classified as Junior or Novice in other organizations must ride in the Novice class.
Novice Class is also known as the Junior class in some organizations. Beginner series trophy winners from a previous series will automatically be advanced to the Novice class. Advancement to the Intermediate class will occur after earning 18 points or winning two previous series as a Novice.
Intermediate Class is also known as the Amateur class in some organizations.
Expert Class is also known as the Masters class in some organizations. This is the highest level of competition without a money payback.
Pro-Am Class riders compete for money. Class is open to anyone. Payback is 100% nightly.
Adult 50-110 This class is open to all adults (over 18 years of age) that want to ride the adult 50/110 bikes.
